artelle
A colored pencil and watercolor study of a grand mosque from the studio — shown in place of the artist portrait

The artist

Artelle

Artelle draws and paints the places she knows — mosque walls at evening, trees in bloom, courtyards holding their light. She works in colored pencil and watercolor, building each scene slowly, in soft layers.

Every work is editioned carefully: as a signed archival print for walls everywhere, and for selected pieces as an official digital edition you can keep on any screen.

A picture should give something back every day it hangs in front of you.

Commissions

A wall of yours,
answered in her hand.

The studio takes a small number of commissions each year — a piece made for a specific room, in conversation with you. Write to us with the wall, the light, and the feeling you’re after.
